Emergency Care Required

Crossroads may refer you to a 24/7 emergency pet hospital.

Crossroads Veterinary Hospital strives to help as many pets in need as possible, but some medical emergencies may require 24-hour emergency hospital intervention. These pet emergencies can include but are not limited to:

  • Difficulty or irregular breathing
  • Weakness or collapse
  • Broken bones
  • Trauma (hit by car, fall, gunshot wound, burns)
  • Prolonged or multiple seizures
  • Poison exposure
  • Significant bleeding
  • Paralysis
  • High fever
  • Significant blood loss
  • Significant wounds
  • Inability to urinate or defecate

These are medical emergencies and should be seen at once in our hospital or a 
24-hour veterinary referral hospital.
